If your current system is getting old, now may be the right time to update it.
Starting January 1, 2025, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will require manufacturers to stop using specific refrigerant in residential HVAC systems. The new systems will be using R-32 or R-454B, which is intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ozone depletion by replacing older refrigerants with more environmentally friendly options.
Although this is good for the environment, it also means the newer systems will be more expensive. If you are not sure if you need an updated system, give us a call and we can check it out for you.
